Yes-I'm still here :-)

Still here, still pregnant, still feeling great (ok....most days. Some of you have seen my bad days or hours when I get incredibly crabby and worn out, but they pass quickly and then I feel awesome again :-) )

So here's some updates from this past week (it's been a busy one!)

Surprisingly, I've have only a few contractions a day! I think G has decided to stick around for awhile :-) Even after Jeff and I take our longs walks, play frisbee or work on landscaping-the contractions still stay away, so G is actually listening to her momma for once! (but she better be ready to come out soon after 37 weeks when I hit 'full term!')

This weekend we worked on getting our garden together and landscaping. I'm still waiting on some of my 'crops' to come from directgardening.com but I got an email saying they shipped so hopefully any day now. I bought some plants from wallie-mart and got those planted too. We worked on getting the front landscaping together with hostas, lillies (from my dear friend michelle, she gave them to me when we lost our babe last year-I transplanted them to the front landscaping after finding them thriving under a black tarp that was put down along the side garage garden!). I have more bulbs/flowers coming from DG for the front too so we can plant them right when they come!

The garden is coming together, along with the side gar garden were the raspberry and blackberry plants will go.Align Center
You can't really tell in the pic-but I painted some steaks white and wrote on them what plants were in each row :-)

It's hard to see but we have baby hostas and lillies planted! Way better than
the ugly bushes from last year!
Oh...and Jeff made me a thread holder this week (still trying to find small enough dowels to add for my bobbins) Here's a pic! Still need to get some ribbon to decorate it and he's still working on my ribbon holder to go underneath.

Yah, so my 'crafty' area needs some work! The refrigerator (under the lamp) needs to go somewhere else and I want to get some cute vinyl wall word to put up. OH! I almost forgot...I got a 6inch cricut!!! YAH!! Guess how much I spent on it?! Uh....$12!!! Yes-I am the bargain queen :-) I swapped an old digital camera I had for it on swapmamas.com. It cost me $5 to ship the camera and $7 for a new mat to replace the bad one she had.

Hm....what else? Work threw me a baby shower on Wednesday, which was super incredibly nice of them! I got a $200 gift card to Target!! YAH!!!!!!!!!!! Jeff was pretty excited and talked me into going to Target that same day to pick up our pack n play. I also picked up an exercise ball-my hips have been killing me and I read online sitting on an exercise ball for 15-30 minutes a day can help to relieve the pain.

And here's a pic of my gross feet. Don't worry-they are only sometimes like this (they get so swollen that you can stick you finger in them and it will stay like that forever!). This usually only happens after dance, when I'm on my feet too much or I wear cute, but uncomfortable shoes!
Baths are my new best friend, they usually help my swollen feet. Jeff is even nice enough to sit in the bathroom with me and hang out because I get too bored laying in there by myself! Sometimes he even hooks up a tv so I can watch my fave shows while soakin in the tub:-)

Well, I think that's all for this week! Oh-G has a new game she likes to play. She pushes her feet out SO HARD all the time. If Jeff is sitting next to me and sees her doing it, he'll push back which makes her push back harder-and so on. They think it's fun, I think it hurts! ha
