Progress Update...

I finally talked to Dr.M on Thursday night, after having contractions regularly for about 3 hours!

Basically Dr.M went over the cervical check...he said that I may be more than 10% effaced because that's based on a 'normal' 1 inch cervix. Mine is usually much longer, so that means I could be quite a bit more effaced than what they thought. He also said he isn't too concerned about already being a tiny bit dilated-he said the FNN results showed that I only have a 1% change of going into labor in the next two weeks and since I'm already 33 1/2 weeks it's not as huge of a deal. He said if I did deliver in 2+ weeks everything would be ok. Baby may need to be in the NICU for a little bit but would grow up to be a healthy little one.

Since my contractions happen quite often, he said I really only need to go to L&D if they get super intense, regular, and last for hours. Until then I just need to relax, drink lots of water and hang out. I have another appointment on Tuesday so they'll probably check me to make sure I haven't made anymore progress. Then we have an ultrasound on Thursday so hopefully G is growing really well and getting big!!

G is still stressing me out....her movements have decreased alot but I also know that she's got alot less room to move in there also. I think once we see her again on the ultrasound it will help me to calm down a bit :-)

We also had our maternity pictures done today!!!! It was sooo much fun and I can't wait to see them! I'll post a link when I get them back :-)
