Jeff and I have a nursery in our back yard now, for baby animals. I was looking out the window to the backyard while doing dishes today and saw Jeff carrying a shovel. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was going to find some worms for a baby bird. Uh, what?! So I go outside to see what he is up to, and sure enough there is this little bird just sitting in our yard. I helped Jeff find some worms, although I didn't really think the baby bird would allow him to feed him. Oh boy, was I wrong! The little bird was just chirping away until Jeff came over with worms, the little birdy just opened up his mouth and let Jeff drop in the worms. I had to feed Birdy some too, and take pictures of course. Here are a few of my favorites.
I really hope the bird will be able to grow up and fly, I plan on feeding him more worms tonight.
The birdy let me hold him too! He hopped right into my arms. Can you see his crazy spikes of hair sticking up? Cute huh! (I'm all scurvy from painting the basement-It's almost done!! Pics tonight!!)
