I always thought I would love the cuddly, newborn stage. Don't get my wrong, I did but oh.my.goodness I LOVE this age! Gianna is almost 6 months old and sooo fun.
All you have to do is smile and act excited and she starts freaking out. She jumps up and down, giggles, smiles her (barely there) toothy grin. I just love it! She also grabs everything...toys, hair, lips, clothes! She also opens her mouth when you eat, like she wants some too! We started bringing puffs in our diaper bag so she could eat something whenever we go places. She blows raspberries, squeals, giggles, and smiles like crazy. She is just too fun.
She's also pretty good at playing by herself (finally!) for a bit. She'll bounce in her jumperoo or sit and play with her Elmo toy while I get a few things done.
She just started trying to reach when you go to pick her up, not all the way but she puts her hands out. She gets all excited and smiley when she knows your coming to pick her up.
Lastly, her new favorite toy is the cats. She squeals at them and loves to pet them...which means she just grabs their hair, ears, eyes. They are good about it though and just deal with her :-)
Alright...enough being a braggy mom. :-)

aw, this age is so much fun!! i remember my nephew being like that!! i can't wait for my little guy to arrive!! i have so much to look forward to!
