6 month appt.

G had her six month check up the other day and everything looks great! She's 16lbs13oz and in the 63 percentile for weight....26 inches long and in the 55 percentile for height. Her head is going down in % too...now it's only 89% :-) She did really good with her shots, although I didn't. The nurse actually asked if I was going to be ok because I hid in the corner until they were done. I hate hearing G cry so much.

When Jeff came home he had a little surprise for G! He bought her mini roses, a balloon and a frog (who we have named Bernard....) because she did so well at her appointment (and he got me flowers too). Gianna has the best daddy!!

G got the ok to try finger foods too! Right now she likes to feed herself (although only about 1/4 make them in her mouth) puffs, cut up bananas and cheerios. Today we bought her some organic graham crackers and she gobbled one right up!

She's just such a stinker and so fun. Her new 'thing' is to snort over.and over.and over. She goes completely crazy and it's hilarious! Usually she does it when she's really excited or really mad...which means she'll probably be a really great tantrum thrower! Yikes!

All in all, G is awesome and so much fun. We still have some rough patches with naps and she can't really entertain herself for long but those will come!
