Big Girl Bed!

Gianna is now sleeping in her crib at night! I thought this would be really hard, but it's actually nice to have her in her own room. The last few weeks I noticed that I would go get Gianna at her first peep and bring her in bed with us....then I'd wake up later and realize she may not have even been truly awake! So last Saturday Jeff went to BRU and bought a video monitor (the one we got free from craigslist broke!) and a breathable bumper (since your not supposed to use real ones due to a SIDS risk). Jeff set up her room and we put her to bed in her crib...and she slept good! She goes to bed around 7:30 or 8-sometimes wakes up at 12, and always wakes up at 3 and then 5 to come to bed with me...then we are up around 7:30ish. Eventually I'd like to ween her from coming to bed with me at 5, but one step at a time-right? Plus, I still love our morning cuddles! Oh...and yes, that means she is no longer sleeping through the night. That stopped a couple weeks ago when she started teething. :-(
