12 weeks

Gianna is almost 12 weeks old!! I thought I should update you guys on a few new things she has learned! (It makes me a little sad that she is growing up so fast! I feel like I should have taken a million more videos and pictures, even though I already have taken about a 1,000!)

She tries out her bumbo sometimes...but only likes to hang out in it for a minute or two.
I think any longer is too hard since she can't hold her head up all the time yet.
She's doing great on head control though-when we hold her against our chest
and walk around she always holds it up! However, she hates tummy time
so she may never crawl ;-)

She just started rolling to her side and enjoying playing by herself on her play mat.
She has started grabbing the toys that hang from her mat and today she even shook them
after I showed her how :-) And of course, they go in her mouth!

She started hanging on to toys at Grandma's!!

Gianna also likes pull herself up to a sitting position, with our help of course. We will hold onto her hands and she pulls herself up. We have it on video, which I'll add later!

I also have a video of Gianna jabbering, per reader request :-) She's a little shy at first because whenever the camera comes out she stops talking and just stares...but towards the end she really gets chatty :-)

Today she also copied me...I was making my lips vibrate (ya know what I mean, like a raspberry in the air?!) and she did it!! Only once though-after that she just stuck her tongue out haha

Oh...and last night she slept for 9 straight hours!! Tonight we are putting her to bed at 8 (usually she goes to bed at 9:30) because her naps are getting later and later. So she may not sleep as long tonight but we'll see how it goes. She got super sleepy around 7 and I fed her and rocked her to bed at 7:30 and she's been sleeping since 8 so we'll see if she stays alseep or is now up during the night-hopefully I didn't mess up her good schedule!!
