Wow, time is flying. I think all the nice weather makes days fly by! Gianna and I are definitly enjoying every bit of sunshine we can! One of her favorite things to do is take a walk and pick every.single.dandelion she can find! She also loves to hang out at Grandma's house, play in the dirt and pet the horses. I think that little girl would be in heaven if we just moved right in!
It's so funny how G picks up on just about everything anyone says or does. This morning she said 'PHEW!" (while wiping her forehead) "That was close!". Lol...where did she come up with that?!
A few of her other recent phrases are.."Just chillin" (when asked what she's doing) and "oh fine! whatever." and lastly.."Jessica! Your baby!" whenever she is doing something naughty. This is also how the daycare kids let me know she's be ornery, so I guess she got that from them! She is quite the chatter box and always so hyper. I seriously would love an ounce of her energy.
Oh...and she calls us Jeff and Jessica because that what she hears other people say. We correct her every time but she still calls us by our names. Sigh...hopefully soon she chances back to mom & dad!
She knows her abc's, numbers and even her shapes (triangle, square, circle, star and heart). I have no idea where she picked up her shapes because I never even work with her on them! She is even learning the sounds each letter of the alphabet makes...she's such a smarty pants :-)
G is also starting 'preschool' this fall. I haven't decided if she is going one or two mornings a week yet. It's called 'mommy's morning out' until they hit 3, but it's similiar to preschool. They do crafts and play time and lots of other fun stuff! I'm excited for her because we definitely want her to be around other kids and get time away from me (she's a 100% mommy's girl!). I think the first few days (or weeks) will be harder on me than her, but from what I hear from the other moms; their kids LOVE it!
