Gianna has a little...

Too busy looking at plants and flowers to
take a pic!
SISTER! We are so excited and thankful for a healthy baby. This morning we had our 20 week ultrasound.  During the ultrasound the tech kept commenting on how good Gianna speaks and how patient Jeff was with her. G did great, just played iphone games and read her books! She could really care less about the baby on the screen. In the beginning she looked up and kind of squealed because she recognized the baby from other ultrasound pics I had showed her, but then she went on to do her own thing :-)

The tech did all the measurements first and I loved watching our little peanut moving and kicking in there! She was even opening and closing her mouth a few times which was just soo cute! While doing her leg measurements I got a peak of her 'girly parts' and noticed right away it was a girl. I didn't say anything until she asked if we were ready to find out what we were having! She said, I don't see a penis...I think it's a girl! She checked around for any male parts but sure enough there was none!

Gianna always says she has a little sister and said it was not ok if it was a boy! We are all very excited to have another little princess in our house! After telling a few people they asked if we were bummed we weren't having a boy...uh. NO! We are both thankful for a healthy baby GIRL and wouldn't chance it for the world. That just rubbed me the wrong way....I know Jeff would love a little boy but I also know he loves his girls :-)

Sorry, enough with the rant ;-) After our ultrasound we went and got G a balloon that said "baby girl!" to annouce it to our family. She also insisted she get a Tangled balloon too. We did a little shopping and had lunch at Huhot. Then while during nap I bought fabric to start the nursery bedding! I'm so excited decorating! Here's a few pics from today. Enjoy!

We took G to ToysRUs and she picked out a horse
set that goes with her dollhouse!

With our GIRL balloon!

We got out her baby clothes to go through
for her sister...she had to try on some 6 month
onesies ;-)
