to our new Mazda yesterday! We've had some issues with it in the beginning and to tell ya the truth half of the problems weren't even with the car itself, more with the dealership we bought it from! I had to bring it in on Wednesday when Jeff was out of town on business. I dropped it off and went to pick it up the next day...well they didn't fix the air conditioning like there were supposed to and made a bunch of excuses, yada yada ended up leaving the mazda there
again and driving another rental vehicle home. I won't get into the details of all the sh*t we've been through with this dealership & car and I was fed up. I decided to call the manager and basically laid it out how unhappy I was with everything. I explained that in 6 weeks our car had been in the shop 3 times and I was done. I wanted a full refund on the car. (Usually I'm not so 'harsh' but I decided I needed to stand up for myself for once and take charge). I made an appointment to meet with the manager the following day to discuss what would be done.
After finally getting ahold of Jeff to tell him I made the decision to return the car he completely agreed. Then Friday we met with the manager and sales men; they were both incredibly nice and understanding about our whole situation. They apoligized a ton and we came to an agreement. They would take back the Mazda and we would get a full refund. We would drive one of their vehicles for free until we could find something that we love (hopefully in the next 3-4 weeks). We are looking at an Acadia or Traverse now....I'm excited to have more room and a 3rd row!
The dealership was great and I no longer have any bad things to say about them (which definitely wasn't the case on Thursday!). I'll keep ya updated on what we decide on. Right now we are driving a 2010 Traverse and I am in.love!!
My question for you ladies (or men?) are...if you had the choice between a Traverse or Acadia what would you get and why?
Acadia

Traverse. I'm a GM girl all the way. We looked at them this last spring when we had to get new vehicles. Sadly, it just wasn't possible at the time, but I look forward to one in the future.
I've never driven the Traverse, but the Acadia is a great car! I have a Highlander now & got a GREAT deal on it & love it! But if I didn't get that, it would have been an acadia. I say test drive an acadia, look at all the options & make your choice from there. GL!
