Gianna and I with our new car!
We finally bought a new car today! We ended up getting a 2011 Chevy Traverse...I LOVE it! I did all the 'negotiating' so I'm pretty proud of myself. The salesman we worked with kept saying we could only afford a used vehicle in our price range and tried to get us to buy a 2010 Saturn Outlook with 21k miles... Thankfully, we didn't do it!
On Saturday I ended up telling our salesman that we were looking at other dealerships and they were able to get us into a NEW suv for the same price as their used ones. I think he realized I was going to budge on my price. So on Monday I got a call that he had found me an suv....2011 white Chevy 1LT Traverse with bucket seats, remote start, back up cam, etc within our price range :-) The SUV was listed for over $6,000 more than what we bought it for! They kept telling us they could only knock off a few hundred dollars when we started looking at them!
Anyway-we love our SUV and plan to keep it for a LONG time!

A splendid choice, Jessica! I'm just new in the market for cars and I'm looking around at how other ladies went with the car dealership. Indianapolis, where I am right now, is indeed a big city with lots of car shops.
I've already narrowed my choices to three cars, and since my husband isn't with me at the moment, I figured I'd be the one to talk to the car dealers. Indianapolis, Indiana hopefully has that best car deal.
