One project down...a million to go!

We worked on finishing the stairs to the basement this weekend. We still have a million little projects to finish up down there that I want to get done before G is born. Next weekend we're going to work on putting up the trim.

The project was actually really easy...Saturday we worked on cutting boards and painting them white to put on the rise. I had a little spotting scare (probably just over worked myself) so we ended up finishing putting down the wood today. I think it looks great :-) Now, if we could only keep them clean! The entry flooring is the same & it gets sooo dirty because that's where we leave our shoes. That is the one thing I absolutely hate about our house! Our next home will most definitely have a mud room :-)
