Professional Pictures

We had Cora's newborn pictures and some family pictures taken a few weeks ago, when Cora was a whole 8 days old! We always use the same photographer (and friend of mine!), Alyssa Gaskill. If you live in Iowa you should look her up, she's amazing and SO reasonably priced! However, she books up fast so schedule early! I'm always amazed at how great our pictures look because our sessions never go as planned, lol!

A couple days before our pictures I really 'talked up' picture day. We told Gianna she could have m&m's and suckers if she was a good listener and posed for the pictures. She seemed really excited...but that lasted about 5 minutes! We started out with some family pictures and pictures of Gianna and Cora. Gianna was great at first and had fun holding/posing/loving on her sister for the pictures but then all of a sudden she.was.done. We tried bribing her but she wouldn't even give in with chocolate! Crazy child! ;-) She ended up sitting next to Alyssa for most of the rest of the session with her play camera and snapping pictures. It was quite cute and our pictures turned out great, I love them! It's fun to look back at the newborn pictures she took of Gianna and compare G & C...and realize how different they look from each other! I love it.
