please pray for me. I'm sure everything will be fine but we've had a bit of a scare. Yesterday I went in for my yearly exam with Dr.M. Everything was going great until he felt a lump on my ovary. I had an u/s done a few minutes later which showed a 7cmx8cm cyst on my right ovary. The u/s nurse thought it was mostly blood, tissue and water but she didn't know for sure.
This morning I got a call from a nurse asking me to come in today for a few blood tests, one being a CA125 test. She said it was a cancer marker and my insurance wouldn't pay for it so I needed to sign a waiver. Of course, that freaked me out a bit so I called Jeff and we headed to the office to get my lab work done.
When I got to the lab I found out I was also getting a AFP test-which screens for a tumor, a LDH test which checks for tissue damage and a HCG test which tests for pregnancy and can indicate if a patient has a tumor. All those tests scared me more than anything. Jeff overreacted a bit and said he couldn't do "this" (meaning life) without me. I'm sure all will be fine, we have faith in God that he has a plan, but if you could spare us a few prayers that would be wonderful.
