I'm on a roll today! After G went to bed tonight I went downstairs to sew again. I found this
upcycled dress tutorial and I loved the concept, but it's not really my style-plus I wanted something for summer! So I searched through G's summer tub (yes, she already has a tub full of summer clothes) and I found a hand-me-down tank in size 6-9month that will probably be too short. I also found some scrap fabric that were, kind of, coordinating and whipped out this adorable dress. It was
incredibly easy and took me about 45 minutes. Anyone could make one! The trick to sewing the cotton fabric on the jersey stretch fabric tank is to use a zig zag stitch, it helps to not pull the fabric too much.
(sorry, the pic is off my phone)
I can't wait until Gianna gets up tomorrow so I can try the dress on her! I really hope it fits, pictures to come!
