During this time of year we all look back at the past year and remind ourselves what we have to be thankful for. I have an amazing husband and daughter-I truly feel more blessed as every day goes by. I have a home, food on the table and (a little) money in the bank. I couldn't be happier although some days leave me frazzled and worn out. Then I find a blog that reminds me that even on my frazzled days I need to be thankful for my healthy family.
I came across this blog through a message board and after reading Scarlett's story (a 2 month old little girl who was diagnosed with a large brain tumor about a week ago) it reminds me to be thankful and to take a few minutes each night before bed to pray for those who aren't as fortunate. Please pray for Scarlett, I can't image the hurt and worry her parents are going through. Praying only takes a minute but it changes everything. It reminds me of my favorite quote, "When life gets too hard to stand, kneel."
Please pray and be thankful for all you have. Give your family extra hugs and kisses tonight too!
"Whenever two of you on earth agree about anything you pray for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my Name, I am there with them" (Matthew 18:19, 20)
