I've been thinking alot about Gianna's room decor and I can't decide between two. I always said I wouldn't do brown/pink because it's soo overdone....but I'm starting to love it. I want something serene and calming. Nothing to bright or over patterned. I want to do wainscotting like this:
Jeff just gave me the 'ok' that we'll tackle the wainscotting project!! I love how high it goes and I hope to do a super, duper light pink on top. (If we go with the pink/brown room) It gets a little expensive to do but hopefully we'll get some Menards gift cards for Christmas (wink wink) so we can put up the wainscoting. YAH!!!
I found fabric at Joann's yesterday that was a super light pink damask and one with brown/pink polka dots. I don't want to go crazy with patterns..just a bedskirt and pillow. All the rest will be done in creams and browns for a light, calm room :-)
My other idea is below. I still like it, but I can't decide. I could do the wall a super light purple with the wainscoting and then add in the other fabrics. Which do you like better? (Poll on the side for your voting)
