First-Shawna don't read this, it will only make you cry.
On Tuesday my friend Shawna had to put Taz, her golden retriever, to sleep. He was very, very old-with one eye and lots of arthritus but he was such a great dog. I remember he liked to eat off my fork when I was done with my food and I would always gave him lots of love. Shawna claims he could make snow angels in the snow, but I have yet to see this. Shawna didn't tell me until Monday, and I knew it was for the best, but when I came over on Wednesday I had to hold back tears because I missed him. However, as Shawna and I were talking the other day I realized that Ducky now has a friend!! Of course, I cried at this thought-but also made me glad that Taz has someone he 'knows' in heaven with him. I can just picture them together.....
Until then, have fun Taz and Ducky!! We miss you dearly and love you lots. Taz-give Ducky one of your slobbery wet kisses from me! Muah!

My most amazing aunt is probably holding ducky and playing fetch with taz. Awe! What a beautiful thought.
