Updates on Life

Well, I finally have a minute to post our 'updates'! Life has been busy, did I tell you all I now have a 3rd job? Yup, I have no idea how I even ended up with more than one, but it happened! My second one is teaching dance in Adel on Monday nights (now possibly wed/fri sometimes too). I love teaching dance and it's easy and fun so I don't really count it as another job, but you know. Anyway...my friend started her own organizational business and asked me to help her with some clients. I happily agreed-its $15 an hour and I work whenever I can! Score! The extra money is going to finish house projects but now I've been working with her most Tuesdays and Saturdays which kinda sucks. Oh, well, its pretty easy and the time goes fast. So that's whats been keeping me so busy these days!

Jeff finished the flooring in the entry and it looks AMAZING!! Here's a few pics:

Haha-Kingston is mad in this one because he wants to go outside and play!! Mean old mom won't let him ;-)

Then we went to Target and got a super cute entry rug! Don't mind the gross old door, that will be replaced this summer!

Then, I bought this rug for the dining room (after buying and returning another one) and I LOVE the pattern/color. The pattern is damask which really fits our homes style and the color matches the curtains perfectly but the size is a little small :-( The before rug was 5x8 and HUGE and this one is 4x6 and a little small. So, do I keep or return??? I really need some opinions, I'm torn :-(

Ok, off to finish up some junk and relax with the hubs! FINALLY!

That looks great :-) I'm jealous of all the work you guys have done one your house and your taste.... DH and I aren't very handy, and I have no eye for decor.

It looks wonderful! I would keep the rug, even though it's a little small. I wish our house looked as nice and put together as yours!
