Our Weekend

Well, our weekend was definatly a busy one. Friday after work I picked up some baskets for the built-in in our bedroom and worked on finishing up painting in the bathroom. Saturday I went wedding dress shopping with my sisters and mom, which was super fun. My sister found a beautiful dress which she looks amazing in and we also picked out our bridesmaid dresses. Their super cute and mine doesn't have to be altered (unless I loose some weigt-haha). After that was church and then bowling with Hannah. My parents tagged along to watch and it was soo much fun!! We definatly need to do that again soon.

When we got home I decided to start one of my late night projects. I've been having a hard time sleeping so instead of laying in bed wide awake Jeff and I ripped up the old, gross, dirt filled carpet on the stairs to the master. We had to rip up the carpet and tack thingies and staples but it was well worth it. On Sunday I cleaned the stairs and plan on painting the trim white next weekend. The stairs look sooo much better (before and after pics below). However, there are these rubber mat things on them which we plan on hiding under a stair rug when we have some extra money to spare. After that I cleaned the house and Jeff went to pick up our dresser for the nursery we ordered a couple weeks ago. I'll just chaulk that one up to one last thing we have to buy later. I'll post pics of the nursery when we have everything re-arranged. We already have our glider and crib also, which we bought awhile ago when we were trying. I updated pics in my bio of the master, master bath, kitchen, and basement.

Baby Update: I haven't miscarried on my own yet so we have an u/s scheduled for Thursday at 8:30 to make sure the baby is really gone. I asked for this just to ease my mind before our D&C, and our D&C is scheduled for Friday morning. I'm kinda scared, I know its a easy procedure and I'll be out of surgery and released the same day (hopefully within 5 hours) but I'm scared. I've never had surgery and have no idea what to expect. The nurse kind of explained things to me but that didn't make anything better. Actually, it made my Saturday morning a very crappy morning. I got the call and then watched OMG Sextuplets! on TLC, which ruined my morning. I couldn't stop crying and Jeff was lost as to what to do or what was wrong. I was doing so good but just broke, however today I'm better and know our baby is in heaven hanging out with God and the angels. We miss him dearly but will have such a better life in heaven than he could ever have on earth. We also found out our insurance probably won't pay for the genetic testing on him, to see what chromosome disorder he passed away from but I'm not about to pay $1,400 for that. It was God's plan and that's enough info for us, for now.

That's it for now...I'll write more later.
