Wow...25 weeks pregnant and I have a 27 month old! Holy moly...time is flying! I must say that G is amazing and that this is, by far, my favorite stage. She's just a little mini-me, my shadow...she loves to help me cook, clean, feel the baby kick, shop, whatever. G talks like a 4 year old, I swear! And she has an amazing memory. The things that she talks about always makes us laugh. Lately she's on a huge kick that we have to 'drive slowly!'. Whenever Jeff leaves for work she says, "Drive slowly dad!". She also loves to talk about her baby sister..but don't you dare ask what the name is or she will tell you! I'll admit, I'm quite nervous to have a newborn and a toddler...it will be interesting to see how this goes. G is quite the helper with her twin cousins, always thinking she needs to hold them or rock them in the swing. She also calls the cats her 'baby brother' or 'baby sister' and will carry them around the house! Poor cats, but oh well, they probably deserve the torture :-)
I'm feeling good! My ribs are really separating/moving so that's been super uncomfortable. I definitely have had more rough/tired days that I remember when I was pregnant with G. I'm guessing it's because I never sit down, always chasing a toddler around! The babies room is slowly coming together and I've been working on a few cute little baby items.
This baby definitely moves a lot more than G did! I love feeling her kicking and squirming in there. She's 13-16inches long right now and weighs about 1.5lbs! I really wish we could have another ultrasound, I just want to see her sweet little face!
As expected, I'm feeling huge...I feel much bigger than I did when I was 25 weeks with G! Still haven't gained any weight...down 4lbs, still! Dr.M told me to start gaining weight, lol. I swear though, I eat a lot! I definitely don't want to gain a lot this time...my goal is to only gain about 10-15lbs total. However, I also know that the weigh just pours on the last month or so...I remember that clearly ;-) I'm just really dreading losing all the baby weight...and keeping it off this time!
