A Night Out

Friday night was Jeff's Awards Dinner for NYL. Last year we attended the dinner for the first time and talked about how awesome it would be if Jeff was being awarded. Well, this year he did! I am so so so proud of him. He has worked his butt off and truly loves his job. (brag, I know!) This year he got the 'Des Moines Appreciation Award'. This award was given to the paid case leaders for the DSM area. Only 7 agents were awarded and my hubs was #4. His second award was that he was inducted into a "Secret Society" of agents (goofy name, I know! I've made fun of him quite a few times already :-)) who were awarded with gold ties and Gucci watches. Lastly, he was one of the top 50 agents (out of 12,000-the whole company) so he gets to go to Las Vegas for the NYL Summit. Lucky duck!

So anyway, we had a great time at the dinner. Afterwards we headed out for a few drinks. We even had a hotel suite (thanks to Jeff for winning a contest in his office!). Luckily we had an amazing babysitter, my long time friend, Molly, who Gianna loves to death.

It was so nice to get out and have some time with Jeff! It's been way too long since we've had a date night! Plus, I got to get dressed up which is always fun. :-)
