New Year's Resolutions

I'm about 2 weeks late, but better late then never!

We all make New Year Resolutions and if you're like me,
rarely keep them. I've told myself this year will be different.

I'm trying my hardest to make these resolutions feasible
and to stick to them!

1.) Make me a better me. To start, I just started training
for a 5k. Today was Day1 and it wasn't too bad! I actually
look forward to running again. I'm also trying to eat better
and lose some weight.
I also started taking Metformin to help my body break down
sugar (glucose) like it should. This should help me feel better
and help me with my weight loss. (I have PCOS..long story
short; my body is messed up. It doesn't break down sugar=
turns it to fat=I become fat. awesome.)

I'm also working on giving myself me time. Why is it that I feel
so bad having time to myself? I'm more patient and a greater
mom when I give myself some quiet time to myself. And it's
not just that, but my husband works a lot. He's a financial
adviser for NYL which means he spends a lot of his weeknights
meeting with clients. Although he and I both love his job; its
makes me feel like a single mom some days! So here's to
some more mommy time this year!

2.) Pay off debt. Pay more towards our cars per month.
Start a Roth for me. Basically use our money more wisely.
(I'm hoping to do some 'snowballing' with our debt;
more specifically our student loans! Dang I hate those things!)

3.) Make a baby. Jeff and I have started thinking about baby #2.
As you know, this isn't an easy process for us so it may take us a
year (hopefully not more) to conceive a little munchkin. We are going
try to do it without IVF, but my OB doesn't think that's in the cards
for us. Hopefully with a decent weight loss; this will help.

4.) Prepare our house to move by fixing up some of the little things.
We are hoping to either buy or build late 2012 early 2013.

5.) Attend church more regularly and get involved! I feel called
to do more, I just don't know how or where yet. I'm hoping
attending church more regularly and getting involved in small
groups will help me get there!

Wow...quite the list, right? I have a feeling 2012 will be a great year
for us...and hopefully you too! Cheers to 2012!
