12 month check up!

I feel deprived...Kinsi (my cat) jumped up on the counter and knocked my computer off so right now I'm sans laptop...boo! But we're getting it fixed so I'll be back to the blogging world soon.

However-I've stole Jeff's laptop for a few minutes :-)

Back to my post. G had her 12 month check up today. She had a blood draw which she did great during, thanks to an awesome nurse who distracted her with her 'pretty red colored blood'.  She did pretty good during her shots too, I hid outside the door and than came in as the hero to scoop her up in my arms when the nurse was done. I made Jeff do the dirty work and hold her down.

She's developing great, of course. She weighs 20lbs exactly and 29 inches long. G isn't a big eater, so I should have prepared for this, but she's now down to 30%!  I really wish she would start eating better. We even started peanut butter early because she will actually eat it and it's high in fat and protein.

The good news is G's ear infection isn't better so she started augmentin. No, that wasn't a typo-I said GOOD news. Why? Because she has.not.been.sleeping. Jeff and I are running on E, I told Jeff I was hoping her ear wasn't better because I needed an explanation for her bad sleep. Thankfully, there was an answer and I know this none-sleep won't continue. Here's to hoping this augmentin crap works! (And we are slathering her butt in Desitin and pumping lots of yogurt in her-let's hope that saves her from some major diaper rash!).

Alright...I feel like I babbled and rambled this whole post, let's blame that on sleep deprivation. Have a wonderful weekend everyone! And don't worry....we'll all still be here on May 22nd ;-)

hahaha, yeah it was Augmentin that destroyed Brynlee's poor bottom. She is still recovering weeks later! If G does get rash - we were told do 4-5" of bathwater with a half box of baking soda, and to combine 3-parts of desitin with 1-part cortizone cream to cool and heal, which worked awesome! good luck!!
