Too much! Atleast it seems that way!
First, Gia Rose Designs is doing really well. I'm really getting my name out and customers must love that I donate 50% of my profits because I've been very busy!
Second, I started my cleaning schedule again to keep my house dust and dirt free! Each day I clean a different room-it only takes about 15 minutes a day, so not bad, but not fun either.
Third-G has started 'crib time'. I've been reading BabyWiseII and the author suggests that by 5+months of age a baby should be able to sit and entertain themselves. Well, G is not the average baby. She is crawling or climbing constantly and can not play with a single thing for more than 30 seconds. I decided to start quiet crib time, as suggested in the book. Twice a day (usually while I shower and while I prep dinner) G is in her crib with books and stuffed animals. The book says eventually she should be able to play by herself in there for 20-40 minutes twice a day. The last two days she started whining after 5min and crying after 10, but I'm going to keep working at it!
Fourth-I'm my husband's secretary! My husband works for New York Life as an agent-working with clients on long term planning, life ins, health insurance, 401k, etc. (So if anyone is in Iowa and would like to meet with him feel free to contact me ;-)). Anyway, basically I set up a few appointments a week for him (and he does a few himself) as well as manage his taxable items, reciepts, etc. Right now it's a bit overwelming but it's fun too. I actually enjoy it :-) And he's a pretty good boss ;-)
Fifth-Sunday I officially start a weight loss program. I'm going to try it on my own for a month and if I can't lose the weight I'm going to start Weight Watchers. I really want to lose 10-14lbs by Gianna's birthday. Jeff and I have an agreement that if I can lose 2lbs next week (seems pretty easy!) I can get a massage! He'll come home from work early one day and I'll escape to the spa. We also made an agreement if I can lose the weight by Secretaries day (April 27th) I can go on a shopping spree that day-alone! He'll stay home with G while I have a "ME" day. Don't get me wrong, I love staying home with Gianna but sometimes I just want some peace, quiet, and do whatever the heck I want!
So that's the gist of it....I feel like I'm busy alot but I can't complain, I am very, very blessed!
(Oh-and I'm growing out my hair!)
