Happy (Belated) Valentine's Day!

Gianna anymore-she's always on the move!

V-day started out great, Gianna was dressed adorably (of course!) and we had lunch with daddy at HuHot. As the day went on though G started acting fussier and fussier. When she woke up from her afternoon nap, poor sweets had a fever of 102.8! As the day wore on her temp rose to 103.8. We went to the pedi and he said all looked fine, probably just a viral thing. I felt so bad for her, she just laid in my arms half asleep/half awake for a few hours. She slept with us that night too, (not that she really slept at all). She slowly getting better, she has more of a cold now with a runny nose and a cough.

I have to say, I couldn't have survived without Jeff. He was so amazing. He did part of the night duty for a few nights and then got up to work the next day. We also started a new routine the last month or so (since G has started waking up 1-2 times a night) that I take the night shift and he gets up with her around 6 to play while I sleep in. It's pretty amazing and then they have their daddy-daughter time. ok...thanks for letting me brag a bit!

On the plus side, Grandma sent G 3 new pairs of shoes for Valentine's Day!! What a spoiled little girl! They are so darn cute. My favorite ones are the T-strap Robeez.

We also started Waterbabies classes! We've only had one class, but it SO fun! G loves to splash in the water and when I lay her on her back to 'float' she puts her arms behind her head like she's laying out :-) Adorable! (her swimsuit is still a bit big, but we had to show it off anyway :-) )

The weather has been BEAUTIFUL here, yesterday it was 70+ degrees so we spent some time outside. I'm really looking forward to this summer with Gianna!! It's going to be so much fun. She's starting to get quite the personality-she's so goofy and talkative!
