Product Reviews!

We've been trying out some new products so I thought I would share my reviews with you! Enjoy!

E-Mealz- I heard about this website from a friend. Basically you chose the meal plan you want and every week they have your meals and shopping list ready for you! You can choose from a few different plans including Weight Watchers, Gluten Free and Walmart shopper, along with how many people you would be feeding! It even gives you a price list of how much you would spend! Oh and the best part? (No, unfortunately it's not free) but it is only $15 for 3 months. Plus if you use the coupon code DAVE you can save $2.50!

Pros: No more time spend meal planning! And the recipes are easy and delicious!

Cons: The only cons for us is that Jeff has appointments with clients alot at night. I think we may start eating a late lunch/early supper around 3 (he comes home in the afternoons for a few hours). Otherwise, for the normal family I think it's a great investment! And Dave Ramsey agrees :-)

Clarisonic Mia: This is a facial scrubbing brush. Through fertility treatments and pregnancy my face was left dull and scared. I have blackheads, a few zit scares and an uneven skin tone. I wanted something that would bring back my nice, even tone I had a few years ago. I've heard a ton of amazing reviews on this product so I decided to by myself one with my birthday money! I actually bought mine off Amazon for around $120.

Pros: It only takes 60 seconds a day. My skin feels smooth and clean when I'm done. I've only been using it for about 2 weeks but I have noticed my skin tone is much more even.

Cons: I'm guessing this will come with time but I still have the zit scaring and blackheads. I think I may try an exfoliating wash that will hopefully help to scrub out those areas. The price is also a con, of course, but this is much cheaper than getting facials or micro derm abrasion!

Mystic tan: Jeff had his big Kick Off party for work and I had to wear a dress...and I was pale. I went to Soliel for their free tan week and one of the sales associates showed me the Mystic Tan booth. I liked the idea of spray tanning instead of tanning in a bed, but I knew it would be much more expensive. Suprisingly, they did have a special going on that included one mystic tan for $15.99, so I decided to give it a try! I went the night before the big event and couldn't shower for 6 hours. The sales associate was awesome and explained everything to me. I had to rub a lotion on my hands and feet to make sure they didn't get darker than the rest of my body. After the booth warmed up I stepped in! The whole process was very quick and easy. "Misty" as they call the booth, explained where to stand and although the spray was a bit chilly the booth was really warm! I did feel a bit 'sticky' for about an hour afterward but that wasn't really a big deal. I also couldn't get wet or sweat for 4 hours, which also wasn't a big deal since I did it right before I went to bed. Overall, it was a fun experience and I'd definitely do it again-as long as they had a special! :-)

Pros: It's a sugar mixture so it doesn't harm your skin or hair. The process is incredibly fast (I was in and out of the salon in less than 15 minutes) and easy. You can also pick how dark you want to be-I chose a 2 out of 4. I had only a slight tan so I think I could have easily gone up to a 3.

Cons: Every time you shave or exfoliate the 'tan' is rubbed off. It only lasts about a week and can be really expensive if the salon isn't have a good sale. You also have to be careful to get the lotion all over your hands and feet. I didn't put enough on the bottom of my feet and they are very brown!

Crest Vivid White toothpaste: I always love to have white teeth but I hate wearing those stupid whiting strips. I heard from a friend about Crest 3D White toothpaste and decided to give it a try! It really works!! We aren't even half way done with the tube of paste and my teeth are really white! I'm incredibly happy with this product. My teeth were already pretty white, but I wanted that extra boost. I did notice that I brush my teeth more on the left than the right, so the left was slightly whiter than the right but after a week or making sure I was brushing evenly it was evened out!

Pros: It's CHEAP! About $4 a tube, plus they have coupons! And it really works!

Cons: It can cause teeth sensitivity. My teeth are already sensitive and I didn't notice them getting worse, but they didn't get better either. No other cons from me!
