4th of July

On the 3rd of July we took Gianna swimming for the first time! My aunt has a pool and our family was having a get together to celebrate the 4th...We showed up a bit early so we could take G swimming without all the other kiddos there (not that we don't love them-but they are a pretty hyper bunch and I didn't want to risk Gianna getting splashed...or worse :-) ) Anyway-Gianna loved it! We only stayed in for about 15 minutes because I didn't want her sun burnt, but she really enjoyed floating around in the water and even kicked her legs a bunch!

We didn't go to fireworks this year-it was just too late and too loud for little G! (although we enjoyed (not) the fireworks our neighbor shot off all.night.long on the 4th!
