First, I have to say the cutest thing I saw this morning.....Jeff, Gianna and I were in the bed this morning and G started grunting away (like usual-so lady like! ha) so Jeff propped her up on her boppy and then laid his head down on it to and they both fell alseep...Gianna even moved her head so it was resting on his. I wish I had my camera near so I could take a picture-but it was soo cute.
Ok.....back to posting! On July 7th it was our 3 year anniversary! Honestly, it feels like we've been together for longer than 3 years, but that's a good thing :-) So I thought I'd share a little history on Jeff and I :-)
In January 2006 a friend of mine told me she thought I should meet her boyfriends friend, Jeff. After a few too many beers we decided to call him and I talked to him for a bit. We proceeded to drunk dial each other a few more times and finally decided to actually meet. On February 3rd I walked into Mallory's apartment and saw Jeff....this may sound corny-but I can say it was love at first sight. He was gorgeous! I was incredibly shy so I just threw my case of beer in the fridge (yes-I was a classy girl back then) and sat down without saying anything. After awhile (and some drinks) I loosened up and we starting talking-and hit it off right away! We hung out all night and made plans to see each other the following weekend (he lived about an hour+ away). Oh-and come to find out later he called his brother on the way home to tell him he met the women he was going to marry!
So time goes on and we do a long distance relationship until he decides to move to were I was living...so in May he moves in with me and my roomate for the summer with plans to get his own apartment in August. Well-after a few months we decided we really didn't want to live apart and found a place of our own. Then October 3rd came and Jeff proposed!! (yes-we had only known each other for 9 months!) But I was over the moon and although some of my distant friends thought we'd never work out....if only they could see us now :-) Then on July 7th, 2007 I married Jeff on a incredibly hot summer day...but the wedding was beautiful and the reception was a BLAST! I'm pretty sure all our friends would agree it was the best reception ever, heck we had people coming from a reception down the hall (our reception was in a ballroom of a hotel, so there were 2 wedding receptions on the same night) anyway-so people came from the other wedding to our reception to party :-)
Soon after our wedding we decided we wanted little ones running around and moved to a 'burb in the 'big city'. Our 'suburb' is actually a quaint little town...it has a main strip with all these cute little shops and the town really likes to keep it that way-small, quiet, homey. I actually really love it here although we plan on moving in the next year or two to my home town because of the better, smaller school district.
So anyway-After 2 years of infertility and heartache we got pregnant with baby Gia. And now we have a beautiful daughter and life is amazing...
Here's one of the first pictures taken of Jeff & I.
What I would pay to look like that again! Tan, skinny, blonde...I told Jeff last night that I used to be so pretty, what happened?! Of course, his answer was that I'm still beautiful but I think he has to say that ;-)

And Jeff came home on Wednesday with roses & lilies (my favorites) and a lil present for me :-) It's a charm bracelet-I ADORE it!! I need to get some more pictures to fill it, but here's the first few. (If you have a charm bracelet-just order prints online and they will also send you a 'contact sheet' which has all the pictures, only really small, on one 4x6 photo. These pictures work perfect!)

So here's to 47+ more years of happiness!! (I always tell Jeff we have to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary...that means we only have to live into our early 70's, totally doable!!!)
