Decorating the basement...

I've been busy with decorating my basement! I picked up a free end table and lamp from my parents house this weekend. I'm still working on the end table but you can see the before and after of the lamp below! I just used Rustoleum Painter's Touch spray paint in brown, it worked super well! Looks brand new! I'm still looking for a new shade and debating whether to wrap the old one in some fabric or buy a whole new shade.



Then, I had a few more garage sale finds! I found this set of bathroom fixtures at a garage sale for $5! Whohoo!! They are brand new and Delta!

I also got this awesome dresser that I refinished as a tv stand. It cost me $20 and about $6 for paint. I haven't bought the hardware for the drawers yet, but it looks so great! I also distressed it a little so any wear looks intentional, hard to tell in the pic though. We are storing Jeff's Xbox controllers/games, dvds, and games in the drawers. It's awesome to have so much storage! Plus, we sold our old TV stand on craiglist for $50 so we basically made money! Yah! Off to purchase more goods for the basement...I'll keep updating as I work!
