I am touched...

I am touched...

By the amount of people who prayer for others. So many people today ask "What is the world coming too", "It's not like it used to be", "There's so much hate and anger in the world" but I am touched, daily, at the amount of people who are caring, praying, helping people they don't even know. I host a prayer group online, with the help of a friend, who prays for couples struggling with infertility. It's amazing to see these girls lift each other up and prayer for one another-they haven't even met in real life! If you read Stellan's blog (http://www.mycharmingkids.net/) you can see millions of letters, notes, emails from people that have never met this sweet little man, but pray for him. On TheBump.Com the message boards have thousands of people who communicate daily, and there are a fair share of meanies out there but when a tragedy happens there are thousands of people to lift you up. Take nestie Million$$Babies...she gave birth to her beautiful triplets at 25 weeks and just a few days ago lost Annaleigh. However, there are hundreds and thousands of people praying for her, caring for them, thinking of their family during this time. Angie posted a video on facebook the other day which recongized so many people who are thinking of them and it overwelmed me. To see all these people who care about them and they haven't even met them in real life. I remember when we lost Ducky, I'm holding back tears thinking about it, but we had so many people call, e-mail, post messages to us. People I hadn't talked to in years, sent us cards, sent us messages on facebook, prayed for us. People I hadn't even met in real life cared for us, and for our baby boy.

Now, I don't know if it's the hormones or what, but I am truly touched by the amount of amazing people in this world. People, like you and me, who will pray for families we've never met. Who will pack millions of lunches for starving families in Haiti. Who will travel around the world for weeks to help build shelters in Africa. Yes, we need more people like you and me, who are willing to change lives, but I thank God we are blessed to have the millions of people hear today that care.

Below I have posted a few blogs of families in need of prayers. I'm sure there are thousands more, but if you read their posts, you will see how people have touched their lives and have loved them. Please pray for these families. Please remember that prayer changes everything. That a simple note that will take you seconds, will touch someone day and life. I remember the simple messages I recieved on my voicemail, facebook and blog that moved me to tears and helped me to remember that I have people praying for us. It's incredible.
