I have decided to start Sparkpeople.com. I signed up about a year ago but it was around the time we started our fertility treatments and nothing ever came of it. Since we're taking a break from TTC until August (against Jeff's wishes I might add :-) ) I decided I'd try to lose about 10lbs from now until then. My current goal is to lose 5lbs by June 6th, my sister's wedding. I'm supposed to be eating between 1,200-1,500 calories. I'm thinking 1,500 sounds more reasonable for me. Plus, we just went shopping so I kind of have to work around what we have for now and than plan better on our next grocery trip!
Not too many updates on our lives right now. Jeff is working on the bathroom as I write this and I planted my garden this weekend! Peas, watermelon, green peppers, jalepenos, tomatoes, organic lettuce (got the seeds for free!) and cucumbers. I'm thinking next year we'll do a second garden behind this one and plant fruit. I plan on making my own baby food and freezing it, so hopefully next summer I can do that and we'll be in need of it!
We did go to the Farmer's Market for the first time this weekend, I loved it!! We'll definatly be going back! We also went to a pond near our house and fed some duckies and geese! It was fun and a 'couple' were protecting a bunch of huge eggs. I loved watching the big huge ducks take baths in the water, it was cute :-)
I also threw my sister a bacherlette party on Saturday night. We went to dinner and then a country bar, Uncle Bucks! It was a blast and I have some pictures, but Mel would probably be embarrased if I put them up-she got a little crazy :-) But heck, that's what bacherlette parties are for!
I did take a bunch of new pictures for my home bio that I will hopefully be uploading sometime this week! I haven't updated that since November so there are quite alot of changes!
Hope everyone had a Happy Mother's Day! Kinsi and Kingson were cuddling super close to me all Sunday morning, that was their present to me :-) haha.

good luck with sparkpeople! it worked for Josh, but you have to be disciplined! He found like 3 different breakfast things he liked that were in the right calorie range and just chose between them every day, then 3 or 4 lunches too, and then dinner we would try new stuff. Good luck! And don't forget to keep tons of fruit and veggies on hand to snack on, because you should never feel hungry! Let me know if you need anything!
