33 week ultrasound

Last week, at 33 weeks, I got to see little baby 2.0 in a 3D/4D ultrasound! I told Jeff a few weeks ago that I really wanted to see the baby again but didn't want to spend the extra money....and really I just kept hoping I'd get a free ultrasound at the doctor (which I did, 3 days later...but more to come about that later!). So on Monday morning Jeff came home for lunch carrying roses and a gift card to Prenatal Visions for a 10 min 3D/4D ultrasound! I was SO very excited. Plus, we were going to have lunch at HuHot after the ultrasound which just topped off an amazing day!
(Not even kidding...I could eat HuHot everyday during this pregnancy!)

I had to be super hydrated so the few days before I chugged water...I usually do pretty good drinking water but towards the end of this pregnancy I just get so full, so quickly, which makes chugging water hard.

Friday morning we headed out to Prenatal Visions, with G in tow, of course! Gianna was SO excited to see her baby sister 'on tv'. At first when I told her we got to see her baby sister on Friday she freaked out (thinking we actually were going to HAVE her on Friday). She asked if she could change her diaper and hold her...but I had to explain it was like in the "Big Sister" books that she reads, we just get to see her  on the ultrasound machine.

The ultrasound went great and baby girl was very stubborn! Therefore our 10 min ultrasound was actually 35 minutes long because the ultrasound tech really wanted us to be able to go home with a picture of our little babes face! Very thankful for that!

During the ultrasound she confirmed that she was truly a she. (Phew!) Baby also weighed about 4lbs13oz and was a little shorty. The tech guesstimated that she would be between 7lbs-8lbs, full term.
We did see a few fat rolls and a tiny bit of hair (measuring less than 1cm long! haha.).

After lots of moving, poking, rubbing, drinking and talking to the little girl she finally moved enough that we got a face shot. At first we didn't think she would look like G....she has full lips, big cheeks and a cute little chin. However after comparing G's ultrasound picture from 32 weeks I realized they may just look alike! (I actually want them to look alike, is that strange?)

Gianna was really good the whole time. For the first 25 minutes she just played on Jeff's phone, drank a juice box (thanks to the ultrasound tech!) or laid beside me. Finally, after baby sister moved her head G said, "AW!! That's my baby sister!!!".

We finished up with about 40 3D pictures and a full DVD of our 35 minute ultrasound.
I loved every minute of it and am so incredibly excited to meet this little girl!!

Here's a few pictures from our ultrasound, enjoy!
