Happy Halloween!

Ok, fine. I know! I'm late! Halloween was a week ago! Oops :-)

Today my house is full of sickness. Gianna has pink eye and a bad cold.
I have a cold and am all achey.
Jeff has a sore throat.
Good news is, that means I have a good excuse
to sit, chill and blog.

Now, back to Halloween.

This Halloween was so fun. Gianna loved it!

A few weeks ago my dear friend, Molly, took Gianna
to Night Eyes at our local zoo. G was all dressed up in
her Owl costume and got to get lots of candy (and ice cream!)
at the zoo. She had so much fun, and I'm a little sad that I didn't go,
but I needed a ME day!

Jeff was watching the Hawks play so I decided it would be a
perfect Saturday to get caught up on orders and Christmas
presents!

Gianna had a blast. She loves Molly almost as much
as she loves me. ;-) Plus she got to look at animals
and get candy...what more could a kid want?!

Here are a few pictures from that day...

Then on Sunday, the 30th we carved pumpkins in the morning.
Jeff did an amazing Mickey Mouse pumpkin.
I cheated and just shaved off the top layers
of my pumpkin! Grandpa grew them for us
and mine was incredibly thick!

That evening we went with the girls I babysit
and their parents to a retirement home to trick or treat.
It was a good time! They had games to play and
toys to win. Gianna loved it. Plus, she was a big hit in her adorable
costume (that I made :-)).

After that went to our 3 neighbors houses that we know.
We hung out at one of our neighbors houses for a bit.
Gianna had got the hang of asking for candy. She kept going
up to Jake and holding out her hands for more candy!

We stashed her candy in a green bag and hid it in the kitchen.
However, she keeps finding it and asking for candy!
She's too funny :-)
