15 months!

Wow...how do I have a 15 month old?! I know, I always say that at each age! I will say the last month has been a little rough but we are finally seeing G get back into her spunky, happy mood. Her four molars came through over the last month, plus she's had a bad cold. Between those two things she whined constantly and was very clingy....24/7. All three of us were exhausted! But within the last couple days G is starting to cheer up and get back to her old self. Phew!

Let's see...at 15 months Gianna is into everything...within minutes she opens the fridge door & takes out food; opens her drawers and puts her clothes in the toilet; and pulls everything off the shelves! She is a busy, busy toddler!.

We've learned that giving her choices will almost always prevent a temper tantrum (ex: do you want apples or pears; do you want to wear your pink shoes or your white) and we try to let her know what we are doing (mommy's going to change your diaper). She likes to feel in control ;-) She also hates the shopping cart and wants to walk everywhere.

She knows most of her body parts. She is slowing down in language but still talk quite a bit and knows a ton of words. She does say "cat" alot but we can't figure out what she is talking about! She calls the cats 'kitties'...so we're stumped on that one :-)

She is also getting very 'independant' with diaper changes. She tells us when she's poopy and goes to her changing table. She also likes when we give her the diaper and ask her to go throw it in the trash. :-)

She's also only 20lbs and 30.3inches tall.; which means she's only in the 15percentile so they told us to watch her eating and have her start on Pedisure. She has constant diarrhea but eats really good. Our pedi said they would just watch her growth and make sure we're feeding her good, fatty foods :-)
